What's all this, then?

This all started back in 2004, when my novel 'The Rainbow Maker' was released by UKA Press. I was encouraged to set up this website to aid with the promotional chores and it reaped dividends as the book went on to sell 6 million copies, was translated into 34 langauges and made into a blockbuster movie by Francis Ford Coppola. (Some of that may not be true.)

For various reasons I've kept it going since then, throwing on bits that I've had published here and there while howling at the moon on the random thoughts page. And now, in late 2008, there seems a point to it all again as my new book 'from Nuremberg to Nineveh' is shortly to see the light of day.
